British Columbia (BC)
Along with Toronto and Vancouver, British Columbia is a top favourite for those willing to immigrate to Canada and has been internationally voted as one of the best cities to live in. In order to qualify as an investment immigrant, one needs to fall into one of the below categories:
1) Business Skills Category
In order to immigrate to Canada in this category you must:
- Have a net worth of at least CDN $800,000;
- Establish an eligible business with minimum CDN $400,000 initial investment;
- Own at least 1/3 of the equity of the business;
- Create at least 3 new jobs for Canadian citizens or permanent residents, as proven by your submitted business plan.
2) Strategic Project Category
In order to immigrate to Canada in this category you must:
- Be able to invest minimum CDN $500,000;
- Create at least 3 new jobs for citizens or permanent residents of Canada;
- Demonstrate that you and your investment are essential to the business;
- Offer a tracked history of good business practices.
3) Regional Business Category
In order to immigrate to Canada in this category you must:
- Be able to develop a business outside of Vancouver and Abbotsford Metropolitan areas;
- Have a net worth of minimum CDN $400,000;
- Make an investment of at least $200,000;
- Own at least 1/3 of the equity of the business;
- Create at least a job for a citizen or permanent resident of Canada, as proven by your submitted business plan;
- Prove that the business aims to increase production and export of goods and services, contribute to British Columbia tourism service, an underserved regional market, transfer skills, technology, and science sectors.
Manitoba
- A province with a lovely scenery, Manitoba also has one of the fastest growing economies in Central Canada, which makes it a top list choice for those willing to immigrate to Canada.
- In order to immigrate to Canada through Manitoba’s Investor Program, you must:
- Have visited Manitoba and be able to prove your interest in making business in this province;
- Have at least a personal net worth of CDN $350,000;
- Make at least an investment of CDN $150,000;
- Have at least 3 years of business experience;
- Make a deposit of CDN$75,000 meant to guarantee the establishment or purchase of a business within 2 years after obtaining your Permanent Residence Status.
Newfoundland and Labrador

As with all the other Canadian provinces, Newfoundland and Labrador offer the opportunity to move to Canada as provincial investor if you meet certain criteria during your application, amongst which:

New Brunswick

- Demonstrate business managerial experience;
- Have a personal net worth of at least CDN $300,000;
- Make an investment of at least CDN $125,000;
- Make a deposit of CDN $75,000 returned after meeting your investment conditions;
- Have basic knowledge of English and/or French languages;
- Make an exploratory visit to New Brunswick.
Nova Scotia

Prince Edward Island (PEI)

To become a Permanent Resident of Canada through investment in PEI you must:
- Have 100% Ownership of your business;
- Have a personal net worth of CDN $400,000;
- Invest at least CDN $100,000;

- Submit a business plan;
- Submit a settlement proposal.
